The Islet Transplantation Program in Australia has been established to serve as a platform for the advancement of islet transplantation as a treatment for type 1 diabetes.
To achieve this aim, the ITP allocates significant resources towards Australian clinical and laboratory-based research with a focus on enhancing the success of this procedure.
